WHO THE HELL ARE WE?
We’re Beth & Demi, the brains (and occasional chaos) behind this wild, fast-growing venture. We’re not some faceless corporation – just two ambitious, determined, and slightly unhinged women doing everything ourselves. And we mean everything! Without the support of our families and friends this venture would have been a million times more challenging. Thank you! ​ From the first idea after (many) wines to building an entire business from the ground up, we have learned, adapted, and persevered through a never-ending rollercoaster of ‘WTF do we do now?’ moments. Neither of us came from a background in tech, web development, or running a business of this scale – but that hasn’t stopped us! If there’s one thing we thrive on, it’s figuring shit out. Fast.
HOW DID Taboo4u COME ABOUT?
Taboo4u was born after late-night wines and ADHD-fueled brainstorming sessions—the kind where one minute you're talking about life (alongside a million other tangents), and the next, you’re drafting a business plan. It started as a ‘what if?’ and quickly spiraled into a ‘holy shit, we need to make this happen.’ Then we realized doing it better meant doing all the work ourselves. Who knew? We both knew we wanted to work for ourselves and, more importantly, we’re passionate about the kink and fetish industry and lifestyle. What started as custom orders for a niche market quickly snowballed into the absolute beast of a business it is now. It turns out, when you mix passion with ADHD, a sprinkle of chaos, and sheer stubbornness, magic happens.
WHAT’S OUR VISION?
Taboo4u is about more than just running a business – it’s about making everything more accessible while challenging the stigma and judgment that surrounds kink and fetish culture. This industry deserves better than secrecy, shame, or outdated attitudes, and we’re here to push boundaries, provide quality, and make damn sure that anyone who wants to explore, create, or express themselves has a safe, welcoming space to do it. And let’s be honest—we’re also chasing financial freedom. We’re not here to pretend this is all just a passion project; we’re hustling like hell to turn this into something sustainable, scalable, and wildly successful. Like many of you, we have struggled over the years, always trying to catch a break and make things happen. This time, with Taboo4u, we’re making it happen—on our own terms. But let’s be real – this journey hasn’t been all smooth sailing. Bootstrapping a business from scratch with zero external funding? Insane. But that’s exactly what we’re doing. From coding the website to handling logistics, marketing, customer service, and everything in between – it’s just us. Every lesson learned, every challenge tackled, and every late-night brainstorming session has brought us one step closer to turning Taboo4u into something truly next-level. Turns out, being stubborn as hell is a solid business strategy.
WHAT’S NEXT? EUROPE, BABY.
Our next big goal? Europe in June-July 2025. We’re making it happen. Not just for the travel (though let’s be real, that’s a perk), but to take Taboo4u global, expand our network, explore partnerships, and bring our vision to an even bigger audience. We’re not just here to participate – we’re here to dominate.
